Churches of Exmoor
The Church is usually the oldest building in a community, providing a focal point for Richard, the group leader, to describe local history and legends. There are about 35 churches on Exmoor which the group aim to visit. They meet monthly on a Friday morning at 10am and finish by midday, usually retiring to a local pub for lunch. It is hoped that once this round of church visits has concluded that Richard will be persuaded to start again.
